Oxalis

Didn’t really think much about this one until Wifey asked for at least a small patch of nice lawn. Sure, I thought, I’ll just throw down some lime, some fertilizer, seeds (fescue), and cover and water.

Oh, but wait, it won’t grow in these large patches! Could it be lack of water? Nope. It’s massive networks of oxalis. I’ve spend several hours trying to pull it, but that’s honestly sort of ridiculous.

Now, I’ve sprayed with triclopyr, and I’ll keep pulling. Also gonna throw down some corn gluten in the next couple of days, and again next spring. We’ll see how that does.
