Coop Progress

October 19th, 2007 · No Comments

When it’s too cold to plant anything, you don’t feel like cleaning up yard slop, and you’re making a conscious effort NOT to bake any goodies so as to retain your girly figure… build stuff.

The chicken coop is being designed on the fly (heh, on the fly… birds…) and has now received recycled cedar siding (from the Rebuilding Center) and a non-recycled corrugated roof (from Lowe’s). I’d hoped to make this whole thing out of recycled material, but it turns out that it’s not that easy to find enough of what you need to make something unless you want to develop the hobby of collecting junk and then designing around it. I’m probably kicked out of the granola club for this.
