As expected, I got my new camera today. I’ve figured out what about two of the buttons do.
Anyway, here are some initial experiments.

I love all of the photos! That one of Margaret is great! I would really like to use that photo on my site sometime if it’s OK!? I am dying to have some chickens in my yard, but am up against some hard-headed neighbors… I have artichokes growing, but wonder when they’re going to do anything… they’ve been in the ground for about 6 weeks now I think…
You betcha, Em. You have my permission to give Margaret her moment of fame.
Too bad about the neighbors. I was afraid that might happen here. Luckily, I don’t think anyone would seriously object just cuz the place is so big and almost completely fenced off.
Your artichokes aren’t growing? You really don’t want them to flower the first year anyway. Like a lot of perennial veggies, you need to give them a year to build up their roots.
Incidentally, we ate the ones in the picture. Mmmm. If only we’d had a little squirrel meat to go with those.
