Some nice-looking produce you’ve got there! I’ve stopped growing calendulas because of the bad-ass mildew. This year I’m hoping to save the dahlias from it somehow.

    I’m coveting your strawberries!

Hmm… well, have you tried compost tea? Seems like getting some competing microbes on there helps. I’ve had decent luck with Neem oil, too.

I’ve also heard of using baking soda to screw up the pH on the leaves. Never tried it, though.

Up here, if the fungus starts doing its thing, there’s not much you can do besides try to slow it down a bit. It usually just means you’re at the end of the season.

You may have the ocean and no snow. We get berries and pit fruit. It all balances out. Unless you live in Northern Minnesota, which just sucks.

    Just kidding, Northern Minnesotans.

    Not.
