Tell ya what, next year we can split the Seed Savers variety pack if you can ride one of your donkeys into town. It’s enough potatoes to feed an army, and you get eight varieties– fingerlings, blues, reds, golds. All very good.

Farmer Jen, potatoes are great. They’re stupid easy to grow, and there’s no comparison between a garden potato and a run of the mill grocery store version. I never would have thought I’d be so into growing stuff like potatoes and garlic, but they’re great– productive, easy, and ultra-useful.
