I’m always writing all this stuff that I learn down and reading good tidbits on other sites, and I can never find it when I want to refer to it.
So, I’m going to try setting up a wiki. If you have been living in a box for the last several years, you may not have heard of Wikipedia, but it’s basically a giant user-contributed collection of misinformation. Still, you know what they say about trying to be all things to all people.
They say you shouldn’t do that.
So, my wiki’s intended specifically for a place to collect information about home food production, preparation, and preservation. Maybe it’ll work. Maybe not. Only one way to find out.

You have a very nice Wiki, Rian.
Oh, go on. You’re just saying that.
You really want to prove you care about me, add some stuff to it. Super interesting stuff.
You have a very pretty Wiki. Wanna do ours?
Hey, I like what you’ve done with the place!
Of course, being that we have nothing in common, I don’t have a thing to add on any of the subject matter you’ve chosen. Too bad. Now, if you had picked, oh, say, “drag racing” or “massage: swedish or deep tissue?” , I could have chimed in.
What I’m wondering, though, is whether you can back up this bold statement across the top: “One of the Local Leaders in Gardening-related, Blog-attached, experimental Wikis!” ?
I’m confident that I’m in the top 20 in that market vertical.
Tell me if I need to add topics to make it more useful for the five people who read my blog.
I already gave you my votes:
1) Drag Racing
2) Massage: Swedish vs Deep Tissue
Well, I could add some stuff about Massage Therapy as that is my main career right now. However, that subject doesn’t seem to promote or enhance the “garden related” mission statement.
