Being a celebrity is difficult… Sure, it has its obvious benefits, but, as a human being, I also find it so strange sometimes. For instance, Tom Cruise might call me up out of the blue and say “hey, Rian, it’s Tom Cruise…” as though he expects me to drop everything to speak to him because he’s [...] I’ll admit that I was a little late ordering my Christmas presents. A) I’m not a Christian, and B) The whole “consumer’s Christmas” schtick is a little nauseating. Still, not to be a total grinch and to help stave off the inevitable collapse of our economy, I ordered some crap. Call it peer pressure. It was [...] Well, so, I wake up the other day and head to the john for my morning ritualistic pee. All goes well until I flush the toilet and the water leaves but is not replaced. A weirdly quiet, uni-directional flush. Uh oh. Could this have something to do with the 15 degree nighttime temps and my piece [...] I’m really not into this global economic meltdown thing. In any case, I already owned my camera and computer, so here ya go… OK, it’s like… totally… frikkin cold outside. Now, I’m no wussy. I grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota. It is not unusual for the *average* temp. to be 10 degrees F there over the winter. [...] |
