Jen, it was a kit. It was a pain in the butt. It is of poor quality and inadequate. That said, it beats a sharp stick in the eye. I'd be happy to spew forth on the ups and downs of it if you're interested. DJIceDanniDuke, yes, ma'am. The "henhouse" is built like a bomb shelter, and the run is sort of half-coop, half-run. I have to close it off now because Foony (<a href="/2009/01/09/did-i-tell-you-about-foony/" rel="nofollow">the magical appearing chicken</a>) can fly. I haven't done that yet because if she stays inside, they still gang up on her. Anyway, no problems with anyone going in the run during the day (hawks can't navigate the opening), and they all march into the bomb shelter at night.
