Great Bubbling Beard of Bees Here in Portland, we’re having a bit of a heatwave. Now, I know people in Phoenix will scoff at all the drama about 100 degrees, but here in the Pacific Northwest, it’s a big deal. The Washington bees– I assume because it’s so crowded in there– are spending most evenings [...] You may have noticed that I wrecked upgraded my blog. The crack technical staff (i.e., me) here at Urban Hayseed, LLC (yes, there really is such a thing) spent hours and hours upgrading our software, resolving all the broken plugins, and installing a new theme that allows for a bit more customization. As [...] I know what you’re not saying… you’re not saying to yourself: Oh, sure, he’s all ‘bee, bee, bee…’ and ‘whoop-dee-doo, I made raspberry sauce’ and stuff, but where’s the ‘Preserve’ in ‘Produce, Prepare, Preserve’? What a jerk! WHAT A JERK!!! Hey now! Calm down. I was getting to that. Fine. If we can’t make ethanol, and infusing vodka just seems… like a bad idea… maybe some delicious raspberry sauce (and/or jam) is a better idea. |
