I’ve been fumbling with getting the right bee blocks in my backyard for a couple of years. I learned a lot about it the hard way– probably harder on the bees than me.

Winter Weekend

I think we survived the Cold Weekend.
The birds have been out in force.
The hellebores are popping outta the semi-frozen ground.
And the fence and gate are starting to look pretty festive, especially at night. Where once there was a muddy expanse, now there’s something to look at.
And… some stuff just looks cool if you look close [...]
Even the raccoons are mad at the cold.
